Ealier this year, we had sidewalks installed to lead from the building to our outside dog kennels. The work and materials were graciously donated, and much appreciated! The sidewalks are easier to clean and sanitize.

If you enjoy great chili, good company, watching an exciting football game on a Big Screen TV….all for a GREAT CAUSE, plan to attend the Central PA Humane Society’s 9th Annual Chilifest and Tailgate Party. Chili lovers from throughout the region will be sampling a variety of new entries, as well as some old favorites, in the Ninth annual “Chilifest & Tailgate Party” scheduled for Sunday, November 8th at the Altoona Ramada. All proceeds benefits the homeless animals at the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.
