CPHS and Blue Knob All Seasons Resort are announcing a change in the dates for the annual “Ski for the Animals” event. The weekend previously noted as February 9th/10th has been moved to Saturday/Sunday, February 23rd/24th.

“The move was made to better accommodate Blue Knob and actually gives us more time to attract more participants in the “ski-a-thon” fundraiser that is a primary source of revenue for us…..in addition, it allows us the opportunity to hopefully sign-up more business sponsors for the event!” says CPHS Director of Fundraising/Public Relations, Dave Hopkins. “We also want to thank Blue Knob for adding a new element to the event this season. They have generously offered to donate a portion of funds for every ticket sold on that weekend to help our homeless animals. We hope that will become a major incentive for more folks to plan their trips to Blue Knob for the weekend of February 23rd/24th”

Nastar slalom races in 8 age groups have been scheduled for Saturday, February 23rd with a return of “The Great Snow Shovel Race” slated for Sunday, February 24th (no experience necessary!:).
