**CPHS Offers new "Pet Clinic" Services**

Pet owners now have some new options for a variety of services to be provided the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society as part of their expanding operations. Starting Saturday, January 5th, CPHS will begin offering special, selected services to pet owners on a regular basis.

"We're betting it will be a hit with pet owners throughout the area!" says Dave Hopkins, CPHS Director of Fundraising/Public Relations.

The new clinic is housed in the grey building next to the main CPHS offices/shelter (1835 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd.).

The office will open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. pm Saturdays for walk-in services (no appointments necessary) being provided to any and all pet owners. CPHS will provide Bordetella and DHLPP vaccinations, heartworm and Parvo tests for dogs. For cat owners the shelter will offer FVRCP vaccinations and feline leukemia testing in additional to general urinalysis, fecal testing, parasite checks and provide dewormer medications, flea prevention products microchip identification systems and sell Science Diet food products. In addition, the clinic will provide for special, private euthanasia procedures (by appointment only.). All the procedures/products will be offered at affordable and competitive pricing structures designed to allow and encourage all pet owners to become clients. Fees for the services will be used to fund the clinic which has been extraordinarily expensive to undertake.

"We think it's worth it and we continue to solicit help from the pet loving public in underwriting the continuing costs for operation and the eventual expansion of the project," noted Hopkins.
