CPHS Pet Walk Sets Fundraising Records

With clearing weather and warmer temperatures, three dozen pets and nearly 60 walkers took part in this years’ Pet Walk at Legion Park on Sunday, May 20th. The walkers raised a record amount of over $4,600 to benefit the homeless animals at the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society. Top fundraiser, Damaris Rispoli turned in over $1,400 to claim first prize of a personal pet portrait by local artist Rachel DiAndrea (Pet Art Studios). Second place was earned by Mary Villani with her donation of $480 and third place went to Staci Strayer who turned in $377 for the cause. Other top donations came from Jess Yuhas and the team of Kelly Adamczyk and Kim Steele who tied at $300. CPHS officers, workers and volunteers say they were very pleased with the turnout and thank everyone who took part.
